S45C steel can be normalized, hot rolled, water or oil quenched before tempering.

Available Dimension:

Hot rolled bar: 10mm-80mm

Forged bar: 80mm-1200mm

Heat Treatment:

Full annealing: 800 °C to 850 °C

Normalizing: 840 °C to 880 °C

Hardening: 820 °C to 860 °C

Quenching medium water or oil

Tempering: 550 °C to 660 °C

Applications:

S45C steel bar is commonly used for axles, bolts, forged connecting rods, crankshafts, torsion bars, light gears, guide rods, screws, forgings, wheel tyres, shafts, axes, knives and hammers.
